Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Pas à Pas Studio LLC (“Pas à Pas Studio”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use any of our mobile apps, websites, and related services (together, the “Services”). It applies to every app we publish unless an app provides its own supplemental notice, in which case that notice adds to this one.
Our guiding principle is simple: we collect as little as we can, use it only to run and improve the Services, and never sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details, such as your name and email address, if an app offers accounts or sign-in (including Sign in with Apple or Google).
- Content you create: data you enter into an app, which we store only to provide the feature you are using.
- Support messages: anything you send us by email or feedback forms.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics: app interactions, crash reports, performance data, device model, operating system, app version, language, and approximate region.
- Identifiers: app-scoped or randomly generated identifiers used for analytics, crash reporting, and delivering push notifications you opt into.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details. We may receive transaction information (such as product purchased, date, and subscription status) to unlock the features you paid for.
We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, health data, or other sensitive information unless an app clearly asks for it to provide a specific feature, and you grant permission through your device settings. You can revoke those permissions at any time.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Services.
- To process purchases and restore subscriptions.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve features.
- To respond to support requests and communicate important changes.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers who process data on our behalf (for example hosting, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, and email delivery), under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
- With platform providers such as Apple and Google, as needed to distribute apps and process purchases. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, us, or others.
- In a business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
If an app displays advertising, it will say so in its store listing and ask for any consent required by law or platform rules (such as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency) before tracking.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: account data for as long as your account exists, diagnostic data for a limited period, and records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons for as long as the law requires. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal information within a reasonable time.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing us. Many apps also let you delete your data or account directly in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Pas à Pas Studio LLC is the controller of your personal data. We process it on the basis of performing our contract with you (providing the Services), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Services), your consent (where requested, which you may withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California and other U.S. states
Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, to obtain a copy, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond what is permitted. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as in the app.
